Your Harbor Master Invitation

Bring Your Lantern Into The Harbor

Dear friend,

Every person carries something valuable.

A story. A gift. A tradecraft. A calling.

The Harbor was created for people who believe meaningful work is built through connection, trust, and shared purpose. We are inviting you because of what you carry, not because we are filling a role.

Your business stays yours. We would simply love to give more people a way to find it.

With a lantern lit for you,
Kaylyn, Beth, Cathy and Dawn
The Founders of The Harbor

We begin with you.

A Harbor Master is a trusted professional invited into The Harbor because they bring expertise, heart, and alignment with Harbor values.

The Harbor does not replace what you have built. The Harbor creates a place where more people can discover it.

We begin by discovering your story, experience, gifts, and the ways you want to help others. The Harbor does not begin by asking what you can sell. We begin by asking what you bring.

Your Harbor home

  • Your Lantern: the unique gifts, experience and expertise you bring.
  • Your Harbor Book: a place for people to discover your story, work and the light you bring.
  • Your Harbor Presence: your portrait, professional introduction, Harbor URL and a connection to your own website. Your business stays yours.
  • Your Harbor Path: possibilities to connect in the Lighthouse, teach in the Academy, guide and serve through the Mercantile. We discover what fits your goals and availability together. Work is never guaranteed.
How your welcome unfolds
  1. You send your note of interest

The short form below. No resume required, no fee, no obligation.

  2. Your note is reviewed personally

Captain Kaylyn and the Founders review each prospective Harbor Master personally.

  3. You meet Captain Kaylyn and each of the other three Founders

All four personal meetings happen before final approval, so everyone knows the Harbor is a good home for your business, your work and the people you serve.

  4. Accept your welcome, then prepare your Harbor home

After our meetings and approval, we confirm the current welcome price with you. Your portrait, story, Lantern, website connection and agreement come afterward, through private onboarding. Nothing is charged here.

Welcome price & project share

Harbor Master Welcome

During The Harbor's launch season, approved Harbor Masters may join at a reduced launch rate of $199.99. The regular Harbor Master rate is $299.99 once launch pricing closes.

Your Welcome includes Lantern Discovery, Harbor Book creation, Harbor presence preparation, community entry and guidance as your place in The Harbor develops.

Under the Harbor Standard, direct project costs are deducted first. Of the remaining value, the Harbor Master receives 92% and The Harbor retains 8% to support shared systems and connection. Any different arrangement is agreed personally before the work begins.

Launch pricing is offered to help establish the Harbor community and will close when the launch period ends.

The current rate will always be confirmed personally before any money moves.

The care we bring to one another

  • Real experience in your craft, and pride in it.
  • Your own business or professional practice.
  • Generosity with people who are still finding their way.
  • Fair dealing, clear expectations, no surprises.

Not sure whether the Harbor fits your kind of work? Ask us. Writers, artists, trades, photographers, makers and people who help others make things all belong here.

The four Founders remain personally involved in The Harbor’s direction and receive priority consideration for early Harbor projects. They are part of a growing company of valued Harbor Masters, each chosen for the work they do and the care they bring.

Bring your Lantern. Find your place.

The lighthouse is being lit. The rooms are opening. The community is growing.

Let’s discover what we can build together.

A note of interest, not a signup or acceptance. Onboarding comes after we meet and agree.

AI runs the ropes. Humans steer the ship. Technology supports organization and connection. People bring creativity, experience, relationships, wisdom and care.
